El Rey de los Albures es una comica historia que se desarrolla en la frontera entre Mexico y Estados Unidos en donde un Taquero: "El Cangrejo" (Adalberto Martinez "Resortes") ayuda a su comadre Carmen (Carmen Salinas) para salvar la taqueria que le dejo su difunto marido que fue empenada y a un empresario estadounidense; ya que no cuentan con papeles, cruzan de mojados a Estados Unidos y empiezan a buscar trabajo para ganar dinero aunque es muy dificil para ellos. "El Cangrejo" con sus dotes de buen bailarin logra entrar a un concuso de baile en donde el premio puede ayudar a recuperar la taqueria de sus comadre en Mexico.
